Distillation is nature’s own way of purifying water.
Water in streams, lakes and rivers is evaporated by the sun the suns energy and the pure water vapour rises leaving contaminants behind.
Distillation imitates the natural HYDROLOGICAL CYCLE. By heating water to boiling point, pure vapour is produced. This vapour then rises to enter a condenser where it is converted back to its liquid form and then stored.
Both the condenser and tank are sterile environments so that, whilst in nature water may become contaminated once again, yours will remain pure, fresh and tasty until you need to use it.
Distillation will remove up to 99% of impurities including arsenic, nitrates, viruses, bacteria, heavy metals, pesticides, and chemicals.
Combining activated carbon with distillation gives even more total removal of contaminants.
